Adrian Wildenauer is a civil engineer who completed his postgraduate studies in Great Britain and Ireland to become a Construction Manager. Since about 2002 he has been working with digital methods for design, construction and operation. Adrian is the disciplinary head for standards and guidelines in the BIM program of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), one of the largest construction clients in Switzerland, spending app. 5bn CHF a year. There he deals with international and national standardisation and represents SBB on various committees, including buildingsmart International. Adrian was one of the founding members of the transnational initiative Law@BIM, which aims to examine the legal issues surrounding BIM from various perspectives. He was named one of the digital change makers of Swiss industry in 2019. He is a lecturer at various universities in Switzerland and abroad, specialising on BIM and facility management and the work with agile methods (BIM and SCRUM). He can switch off from digital with a round of golf.
